Photo-shoot: Sarah and Ian
Last friday I had the pleasure of photographing two wonderful models, Sarah and Ian, both studying for their respective Masters in art, and both have been friends for a long time here in Ashland. Amazingly this was Sarah's first time in front of the camera., while Ian has been one of my favorite models for the past year. Together they were quite amazing as I shot them both in a home studio (3 speed lights, one Paul Bluff 60" PLM as fill and one 24" soft-box used as an overhead beauty dish) and an outside garden. Thanks to Barbara Tricarico and Ellen Ahern for their help as well.
Always before a photo-shoot I question how I can make this time special and unique and I am driven back to Cartier-Bresson's words:
“There’s no new ideas in the world. There is only new arrangement of things. Everything is new, every minute is new. The world is being created every minute, and the world is falling to pieces every minute.” -- Cartier-Bresson
